The Global Production Management Center (GPMC) from Production Engineering Cluster welcomes the two companies Voith Paper and Boll & Kirch Filterbau as new members of its community. As a unique competence network of renowned companies and research institutes, the GPMC supports companies in continuously maximizing their productivity with the help of newly developed methods and tools.
The Heidenheim-based company Voith Paper specializes in the manufacture of machines and systems for the paper industry. As one of three Group Divisions, Voith Paper offers a wide range of products and solutions for paper production, from raw material preparation to finishing. The full-range supplier has not only contributed significantly to the development of modern papermaking technologies, but also offers innovative automation solutions to increase productivity and efficiency in the paper industry. Voith Paper is also heavily involved in research and development. With more than 7,000 employees in over 40 countries, Voith Paper is an important player in the paper industry that is actively committed to sustainability and environmental protection.
Boll & Kirch Filterbau focuses on the development, manufacture and distribution of high-quality industrial filtration solutions. The Kerpen-based company was founded in 1950 and offers a wide range of customized and sustainable filters for a variety of industries that can be used to clean liquids such as oil, water and fuels. The self-cleaning filters manufactured by the company ensure high efficiency and reliability. Around 1,000 employees manufacture filters that meet strict quality standards at branches in over 24 locations worldwide.
