Picture gallery of the laying of the foundation stone

A week ago, another milestone was marked on Campus Melaten – the laying of the foundation stone for the second construction phase of the Bio-Medical Engineering Cluster. The event took place at CT², the Center for Teaching and Training. An ideal location for the celebrations, where knowledge, technology and collaboration come together – as they will on the site of the second construction phase of the Biomedical Engineering Cluster from the end of 2025. On around 8,600 m² of leasable space, an ensemble of buildings is being built on Forckenbeckstrasse with an educational academy of the Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, which will also include a research center for nursing, and an innovation center for digital medicine.
