Global ecological, social, economic and, most recently, geopolitical developments demand the greatest efforts from our knowledge society. The science and innovation system has a special role to play here. In recent years, RWTH Aachen University has repeatedly cultivated and promoted an active, transparent exchange with various players in the scientific landscape in order to work together towards an impact-oriented science and innovation system that best serves our society.

In which structures, with which topics and people does transfer work best? RWTH Aachen University has collected numerous good practices and international perspectives on this topic, which 16 speakers will present for discussion on May 6, 2024 in Berlin-Friedrichshain. Among others, Professor Dr. Frank Piller and Dr. Michael Riesener (Center Director Center Smart Industrial Agriculture and Center for Systems Engineering) will take part in the English-language networking and knowledge sharing event. In the afternoon, Barbara Diehl (Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation, SPRIN-D) and founder David Oudsandji (Voltfang) will offer a workshop on the transfer pocket knife.

The event is aimed at all transfer creators and researchers with an affinity for transfer, regardless of career level, discipline and institution (universities, AuF, foundations, corporates, start-ups, associations).
