Smart Building Solutions is celebrating its fifth anniversary on Campus Melaten. The focus of this year’s symposium, which will take place on 28 and 29 November in the Smart Logistics Cluster, is on the future of existing buildings and how they can become more ecologically sustainable and at the same time economical through digitalisation. The Center Smart Commercial Building from the Smart Logistics Cluster is organising the event.
Natural disasters, species extinction and water scarcity due to global warming – humanity must act now. The real estate sector plays a crucial role in this, as 40% of CO2 emissions worldwide are generated by the real estate sector. The pressure on the real estate sector from requirements and regulations will become ever stronger.
During the two-day conference, experts, decision-makers from the real estate sector, property owners, technology providers and PropTechs will talk to you about how properties can be assessed in terms of energy efficiency, how stranded assets are dealt with and which technologies enable energy-efficient retrofitting in existing properties – and discuss possible solutions with you.
This year, Smart Building Solutions will once again offer two exciting days. Highly qualified expert lectures, top speakers from politics, industry and science, panels, start-up and exhibitor pitches as well as the evening event in the Belvedere event location above the roofs of Aachen.
