9. October 2017
Each year, over 40,000 project developers, institutions and investors from across Europe meet at expo real in Munich. With the ‘Aachen 1a’ stand, 29 actors from the region participate and offer information on their current projects – among them RWTH Aachen Campus. Covering 2.5 km² (Campus Mitte (Campus Central) and the expansion areas Melaten and West) the Campus contributes not only to Aachen as a city of research but also has importance in terms of urban development. In addition, RWTH Aachen Campus plays a pioneering role in the establishment of an entirely new asset category: “research building”.

The partners at the stand also presented their far range of projects to the North Rhine-Westphalian Construction Minister, Ina Scharrenbach, and State Secretary Christoph Dammermann of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy.
